The Gen 3 Footboard Assembly clips into these Gen 3 Rails. If you are upgrading from the Gen 2 metal footboard system then you require these rails with the Gen 3 Footboard Assembly. These rails have closer increment holes which provide the paddlers with more options for the leg length.
There are two lengths of rails, depending on the ski that you own, so please make sure you select the correct surf ski when making your purchase online to ensure the correct length is dispatched.

*Please note that we no longer import the Gen 2 system (with metal sliders) and we recommend an upgrade to this Gen 3 system if you previously had the metal sliders. The new system avoids the corrosion of the metal sliders with the new and improved plastic sliders. The Gen 3 rails also offer smaller increment holes which allow for more options for your leg length.

Perfect for staying connected to your boat and/or hanging onto your paddle! The Paddle Leash attaches to your paddle shaft allowing you to keep track of your paddle in case you lose grip or require both hands to remount.
Always use a leash! In strong winds, our lightweight boats can blow away from you faster than you can swim. Practice your remounts while wearing your leash(es) so there are no surprises when you are forced to remount.
Epic Kayaks Rudder Hatch Cover. We offer three different rudder hatch covers that fit all of our craft, across all generations, being:
• v5/v7 - plastic rotomoulded skis • composite - white - all white composite surfskis (v5-v14) • elite - black - all elite skis.
The rudder hatch cover is sent out inclusive of the surrounding part in case you need to replace the housing as well as the cap. In most instances, the housing won't need to be replaced!
The Epic Stability Pads set is perfect for those who need a little extra support for their sit bones, or are working on training stability in the boat. You can add or remove layers for your comfort, or as a way to train your balance by sitting higher in a more stable boat.
Our stability pad set is made from 4 layers of 6.5mm thick closed cell foam and has a self adhesive back with hook and loop (velcro) attachment. Each layer has 2 removable pieces, to help relieve pain from the pressure on your sit bones, if needed.
Installation note: the pad should be installed with the Epic logo towards the bow - the cutout notch is for your coccyx (tailbone).
Always remove these pad from the seat when transporting your surfski on a vehicle.

Paddling in big water?
The Epic Surf Rudder has a much bigger blade surface and deeper purchase and offers superb traction and control in big wind and waves.
Please note there are variants of the rudder that you order. Our skis have different rudder lengths per ski so to avoid receiving the incorrect rudder for your ski, please check that you have selected the correct option.
Epic Kayaks branded tie downs are a great addition to your Epic purchase. Rubber protected clips which are great for protecting your ski and your car when you're throwing them over to tie your ski down. They are 3.5m.
The Epic Paddling Hat is the on water hat of choice of our founder, Greg Barton. The cap is super light weight and breathes well to avoid over heating whilst on water.
The Rough Water Weedless Rudder combines the weed shedding ability of our Weedless Rudder with the increased control of our Surf Rudder.
Combined with our large carbon Weed Deflector (included), the Rough Water Weedless rudder is designed to shed seaweed and prevent those irritating hang-ups during your training session or race, while still giving you the control you need in bigger conditions.
Use our seat pads for comfort or stack them to speed the transition to a narrower boat.
Our removable seat pads are made from 6.5mm (1/4”) thick closed cell foam. This allows for proper rotation in the boat, while adding comfort.
